Overview

A printing and publishing facility in London required a clearer way to reinforce awareness around moving machinery within its print room. With high-speed rotating paper feed equipment capable of starting at any time, the site introduced a projected safety marking system to visually highlight danger zones and support safer movement around operational machinery. Bear Safety supplied and implemented an LED projector and sensor-based solution designed to provide consistent, highly visible warnings within the working environment.

The Challenge

Within the print room, machinery operates with high-speed rotating paper feeds that can start at any time.

This created a risk of entrapment in areas close to the machines, particularly where the hazard may not always be immediately visible or top of mind for personnel working nearby.

Why It Mattered

The customer needed a clear way to:

The Solution

Bear Safety supplied a projected safety marking system using:

The solution was designed to visually indicate danger zones around the machinery, helping to reinforce awareness in areas where equipment may start without warning.

Implementation

Outcome
